Altar burned, 'dominatrix' suffers panic attacks

NEW ORLEANS (ChurchMilitant.com) - Satanism and demonic influence were involved in last week's defilement of the sacred altar at Sts. Peter and Paul church in Pearl River, Louisiana.

That assessment comes not only from New Orleans archbishop Gregory Aymond, but also the women who, along with Sts. Peter and Paul pastor Fr. Travis Clark, participated in the sacrilege.

"The desecration of this church and altar is demonic, demonic," Abp. Aymond said during a reconsecration Mass at the church on Saturday.

"Let me be clear," he told the congregation, "there is no excuse for what took place here. It is sinful, and it is totally unacceptable. Travis has been unfaithful to his vocation; he's violated his commitment to celibacy; and also, he was using that which was holy to do demonic things."

Telling the parishioners he was "infuriated by Clark's actions," the archbishop was adamant that Clark will never again serve as a Catholic cleric.

"He will not be able to serve in priestly ministry, and he will not be able to serve as a priest anytime in the future," he informed the people.

Aymond had the altar taken out earlier this week to be destroyed by fire. Archbishop Aymond has been busy with wayward clergy lately.

Clark had earlier replaced Fr. Pat Wattigny as chaplain of Pope John Paul II High School, after Wattigny was removed from active ministry after admitting to sexually abusing a minor.

One of the two dominatrices hired for the porn shoot with Clark, Mindy Dixon, 41, calls herself a "Satanatrix" and a "proprietress of the Church of Satanatrix."

Democrats push to politicize the Supreme Court

Court-packing used to be seen as an optional move in the Democrats' war against America, but now that the Democrats (and the nation at large) have experienced Amy Coney Barrett's honesty and brilliance, it's their only viable move.

If the number of justices stays at nine, as it has for the last 150 years, abortion, so-called gay marriage and Obamacare are all on the chopping block. When Barrett takes her place as the next Supreme Court justice, the abortion industry will be in danger of going bankrupt — and that's something many Americans would welcome.

The Democrats have the feeling there's no stopping the Catholic mother of seven from getting the position — they've admitted as much in Monday's and Tuesday's Senate hearings. The leftist media has smeared her Catholic faith, her family and her professionalism, all in an effort to protect unlimited government-funded infanticide.

Democrats zero in abortion

WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) - Judge Amy Coney Barrett faced probing questions about her personal beliefs in the afternoon session of Day 2 of Senate judicial confirmation hearings, even as Democrats tried to couch them in legal terms. She faced aggressive questioning by vice presidential contender Sen. Kamala Harris, as well as Sen. Richard Blumenthal, among others.

Alliance Defending Freedom

Missouri Republican Sen. Josh Hawley began his time by immediately calling out the anti-Catholic attacks of Catholic Democrat Sen. Patrick Leahy.

Leahy "questioned, criticized you for speaking to a legal group that has a summer program for law school students," said Hawley, referring to the Alliance Defending Freedom's (ADF) Blackstone Fellowship, a program for Christian law students.

In the morning session, Leahy had mentioned that ADF had sought to "criminalize homosexuality," and asked whether Barrett knew about this when she agreed to give lectures on originalism for the group. In recalling Leahy's questioning, Hawley asked Barrett to explain the circumstances of her decision to speak to ADF.

PREDATOR PRIESTS ON TRIAL AT VATICAN

Cleric, then-seminarian, raped younger students

VATICAN CITY (ChurchMilitant.com) - Two priests will stand a criminal Church trial this week — one for homosexual rape of at least one minor when a seminarian and the other for cover-up as a superior.

Father Gabriele Martinelli will appear before a Vatican criminal court on Thursday for charges of sexually abusing younger students as a seminarian at the minor seminary of St. Pius X, while the rector's former rector, Fr. Enrico Radice, will face charges of aiding and abetting the abuse.

An investigation into the abuse began in November 2017, leading to an indictment in 2019.

'Nothing Was Done'

Published on Nov. 9, 2017, Italian journalist Gianluigi Nuzzi's book, Original Sin, exposed financial and homosexual scandals in the Vatican, including St. Pius X minor seminary, where a seminarian raped his younger roommate.

Nothing was done to stop the abuse despite complaints to school authorities. The abuser went on to become a priest.

Previous reports claim a priest was entering the rooms of seminarians at St. Pius X for sexual acts, with at least one of those seminarians underage at the time.
