These assholes were primed and ready to run with this story. Whole thing stinks like a CIA attempt to get ahead of something by putting a comical character on TV with news of high crimes by CIA, making anyone else accusing them look foolish. It's pre-emptive damage control IMO.

No idea about this one. Will look into it further. Upon initial glance, it appears to come through the same Anna Khait channel that brought forth the falconer, making it already suspicious on that level to me. What do we know about Khait that makes her trustworthy?

Well, that's the thing, do we know that Trump signed off on that tweet? Or could it have been snuck in by a corrupted Twitter moderator during Trump's recent multi-day tweetstorm and gone unnoticed? Until I know more, I don't want to devote any mental real estate to what smells like red herring to me.
Look at who jumped all over this story. Raw Story, Daily Beast, the controlled opposition. They were ready to go with that. Almost like they were waiting for those tweets. Advise caution is all.
