What's the history of heroin in Afghanistan? My understanding is that the Taliban pretty much eradicated poppies, the latter-day East India Company brought it back. Getting the cabal infrastructure out of circulation that pushes that shit might be giving the country a leg up on something it can't yet handle itself, and might be worth turning a blind eye to.
