What if this was their polite attempt, just to get Trump to back off and roll over on strategic matters like trade and territory? A Chinese style warning shot. That would leave Trump with the choice to appear as the barbarian if he goes kinetic from here, given the narrative as it stands on tv worldwide, or risk allowing the threat of a much more potent second attack from China with a bioweapon.
