Q-I want you to know that many people out there in our country firmly believe that QAnon can be fatal. Therefore, I feel that all the propaganda against us certainly working. Below is part of a letter I recently received from my liberal Brother, who has since closed all communication between himself and me. It is terrifying how much they believe the propaganda.

When I see that you continue posting QAnon conspiracy theories and untrue articles and information from conservative websites, information that is potentially dangerous and even fatal, I feel even more distant from you.  When I see you post anti-democrat information that has very little factual basis, I am left feeling distraught.  You are not the person I thought I knew.  If you were that person, you have changed dramatically.  White supremacist organizations are the biggest threat to this country and the largest domestic terrorist group as a whole.  They are well organized.  The president and attorney general downplay their significance and, instead, want to blame antifa.  Antifa has little presence and is loosely organized despite what the articles that you post say.  I can't blame you entirely because as a whistleblower recently brought to our attention, the acting director of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf, advised him to stop reporting on Russian interference in our election because it upsets trump.  trump doesn't want to feel as if the Russians were responsible for having a large part in his getting elected in 2016, and the Russians are at it again to try to re-elect him in 2020.  It disturbs me that Fox is now pure propaganda, and too many Americans are relying almost solely on this trump mouthpiece for their news.  It's clearly slanted and not based in fact or reality.

It's offensive when you refer to those of us who don't buy or believe the propaganda that you and QAnon and other conservative organizations espouse as "sheep" and when you say, "I've done my research."  This implies that the rest of us have not when in reality, we have probably read more diverse media and watched more diverse news shows and documentaries than QAnon followers have.  No one wants to be referred to as a "sheep."  Your "Wake Up America" hashtag is reflective of conspiracy and is condescending and insulting.  The irony in this is that you seemingly have lost your ability to think for yourself, to read mainstream sources.  You have limited yourself to propaganda media.  These media are interested in one thing, supporting trump.  They care nothing about facts.  They are endangering our democracy.

So, the disconnect is that you seemingly don't value all Americans, particularly gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender Americans, people of color, immigrants, our military, and democrats just to name a few.  This is a large swath of our population.  The hate that your posts espouse leaves me feeling incredibly sad and even more isolated.  The win-at-all-costs attitude, even it means spreading false information, disenfranchising others, not caring about the least among us, downplaying a pandemic and not taking it seriously…even lying about it and giving false hope resulting in a lack of confidence about a vaccine, promoting medications that can have adverse consequences, and misrepresenting facts creates a wide chasm between you and me.

Your unwavering support of trump has created distance and caused family members to feel estranged from you.  There are many, myself included, who will explore opportunities to move to another country if trump somehow manages to steal this election or retain his position fraudulently.  Our democracy cannot withstand four more years of trump as president.  He cares nothing about anyone but himself and clearly wants to be an autocrat, a dictator.  We are on the doorstep of an autocracy right now.  It is time to put country over trumpism.
