If we don't want them to censor, there needs to be clarification - are they a publisher or a platform? A platform is open to all, that's why you are exempt from libel and defamation laws

and as such, liable for everything you publish
you can be sued out the wazoo
right now the socials have the best of both worlds
they can act as publishers by policing some content but are exempt from letting the lies they like live
