The New York Post dropped its second major report on Hunter Biden’s emails on Thursday. The Hunter Biden emails reveal how Hunter Biden worked to cash in big on China and to withhold money for his dad!

On Thursday morning the Biden Campaign came out and lied about the emails.

Biden Campaign Spokesman Jamal Brown told MSNBC, “Twitter’s response to the actual article itself makes clear that these purported allegations are false and are not true.”

That was Thursday morning.

But by Thursday afternoon the Biden Campaign changed its tune.

According to the New York Post Joe Biden’s son Hunter brokered a meeting between his father and Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma’s board.

On Thursday afternoon the Biden Campaign admitted there was a “possibility” the meeting with Pozharskyi likely took place.

And now we know who is to blame — RUSSIA!

Politico today pushed the latest conspiracy that Russia is behind these email leaks by Hunter Biden.

The Post’s story drew immediate comparisons to 2016, when Russian hackers dumped troves of emails from Democrats onto the internet — producing few damaging revelations but fueling accusations of corruption by Trump.

There was no immediate indication of Russian involvement in the release of emails that the Post obtained, but its general thrust mirrors a narrative that U.S. intelligence agencies have described as part of an active Russian disinformation effort aimed at the 2020 election.

Trump attacks Hillary, yells at NBC, but admits he’s less famous than JESUS in raucous post-Covid rally

Fresh from a bout with Covid-19, President Donald Trump has resumed his jam-packed schedule of rallies. In his latest appearance, Trump slammed Hillary Clinton, Kamala Harris, and NBC, and spared only Jesus Christ from his jibes.

With less than three weeks to go until next month’s election, Trump immediately hit the road this week, evidently keen to make up for time lost in hospital the week before, as he battled with Covid-19. Appearances in Florida and Iowa opened the week, and the president jetted to North Carolina on Thursday, where the latest polls show him narrowly trailing Democratic candidate Joe Biden.

Yelling like a man who hadn’t recently been hospitalized with a potentially deadly respiratory illness, Trump served up some red meat to his base. Recounting Hillary Clinton’s failed 2016 bid for the presidency, Trump joked “They talked about the glass ceiling, right? The woman breaking the glass ceiling. It didn’t work out that way. The glass ceiling broke her.”

“There will be a woman who breaks the glass ceiling,” he added. “It just won’t be Hillary. You know who else it won’t be? It won’t be Kamala,” referring to Biden’s running mate, Kamala Harris.

Rambling about his own fame, Trump said that he was recently called the “most famous person in the world,” but corrected that statement, adding that only “Jesus Christ” was more famous.

Such statements go down well with Trump’s loyal, Christian supporters, but the president courted controversy during Thursday’s rally. Talking about the shooting dead by US Marshals of murder suspect and self-described “100% Antifa” Michael Reinoehl, Trump implied that the marshals “didn’t want to arrest him,” and shot him instead.

Londoners hit with NEW restrictions on household mixing in bars & restaurants as govt gets tougher on Covid-19 outbreak

Nearly nine million people across the UK’s capital will see new measures introduced to reduce socializing and limit bar and restaurant opening hours from Saturday. London Mayor Sadiq Khan said there was “simply no other option.”

On Thursday, Health Secretary Matt Hancock formally announced measures to tackle London’s rising Covid-19 numbers, explaining that the threat to the country “remains grave and serious.” Hancock said that there are currently 97 cases per 100,000 people across the capital.

The announcement will see London move into Tier 2 of the UK’s lockdown system from midnight on Friday. This means a ban on households mixing indoors, a 10pm curfew for bars and restaurants, and social groups being limited to a maximum of six people.

Speaking on Thursday morning at London's City Hall, Khan claimed that coronavirus is “spreading rapidly in every corner of our city.” He said that “nobody wants to see more restrictions, but this is deemed to be necessary in order to protect Londoners.”

Khan told Sky News that different London boroughs had been recording varying infection rates, and that moving to Tier 2 was “inevitable.”

The restrictions are seen by some as slightly premature, as other European cities experiencing much worse infection rates didn’t see similar measures introduced until Covid-19 prevalence was higher in the population. Brexit Party leader Nigel Farage described the news as “depressing.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced his three-tier lockdown system on Monday, with every area in England being classed as medium, high or very high alert.

So far, only Liverpool has been subjected to the Tier 3, or ‘very high’, restrictions, which see pubs and bars shut and all household mixing banned.

On Wednesday, the national health service registered 19,724 new Covid-19 infections and 137 deaths. The UK is the most afflicted nation in Europe by fatalities, with 43,155 deaths recorded since the pandemic began.

Reagan Carrier Strike Group heads back into South China Sea amid increasing tension with China

The aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan and its strike group returned to the South China Sea Thursday for the third time in its 2020 deployment.

The Japan-based carrier is joined by Carrier Air Wing 5, the guided-missile cruiser Antietam and the guided-missile destroyers John S. McCain and Halsey.

There, the strike group is conducting flight operations, maritime strike exercises and training between surface and air units.

The South China Sea continues to be an area of contention, with Beijing increasingly laying claim to the waters while the United States and partners continue to send ships into the region to signal to China that the waters should remain international. On Tuesday, Chinese President Xi Jinping told his troops to “put all (their) minds and energy on preparing for war," according to CNN.

“Throughout our deployment, we continue our long tradition demonstrating the United States' commitment to the lawful use of the seas and maintaining open access to the international commons,” strike group commander Rear Adm. George Wikoff said in a statement.

The carrier’s move into the South China Sea comes a day after the destroyer Barry conducted a transit through the Taiwan Strait, a navigation the Navy says “demonstrates the U.S. commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific.”
