If the FBI subpoenaed the laptop they went way out of their way to protect the Bidens. From what I understand they were not investigating.

 

From what I have found so far the laptop was abandoned / forgotten at the shop.

I was thinking along this same line. The guy has had to support the family for 30 years by pulling crooked deals, hanging out with corrupt people, dirty situations most of his life. It was his job for the family. In that one message Rudy found he said "I know you don't respect me" He has had to be a scum bag while POP was Mr. Clean. After years of this role he may have subconsciously or possibly intentional. His dad is confirmed a total douche bag
