boards under attack again

spamming new threads

Anyone else notice that their ability to shut down new thread creation has ceased to be effective in a really long time?

I know the board went down earlier but y’all remember this board just absolutely struggling on a regular basis? Doesn’t happen anymore.

I guess thanks to ron and jim and everyone who helped with mitigation efforts.

  1. Angry Smile. People flash an angry smile when they are threatened by something another person says or does. The angry smile may range from a mild grin of annoyance to a mad and

sometimes bizarre smile of someone who has a severe mental disturbance, such as an antisocial personality or schizophrenic.

The smile is a threatening one, intended to make its recipients uncomfortable and/or unsafe. Depending on the severity of the smile, the recipients may feel mildly uncomfortable or fear for their lives. This smile, when severe, causes the highest level of stress reaction. People who have a phobia of clowns view the clown’s painted smile as an angry smile.
