Mark Levin: Joe Biden’s ‘Communist Manifesto’ Will Destroy Every Aspect of Our Culture and Society

Former Vice President Joe Biden’s joint political platform with Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) amounts to a “communist manifesto” that will destroy America, warned Mark Levin, author of Unfreedom of the Press  and radio show and television host, on Friday’s edition of SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

After Biden took the Democrats’ presidential nomination, his presidential campaign joined Sanders’s team to compose a document titled the “Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations.” The leftist proclamation derides the U.S. as pathologized by “systemic racism,” makes 85 mentions of “climate” while describing “climate change” as a “global emergency,” and calls for “restorative justice” to benefit “marginalized” demographic groups.

Levin said, “Most people haven’t taken time to read the 110-page communist manifesto. I don’t think Biden’s read it. It doesn’t much matter. They’re going to implement it. Every aspect of this culture and society is going to be turned on its head, and I don’t mean it in a good way.”

“It is the most radical, extreme document in American history,” added Levin. “They’re going to destroy our energy sector. They’re going to destroy our healthcare sector. They’re going to destroy our school. They’re going to destroy our suburbs, and they’re going to do it as fast as humanly possible.”

Levin warned of America’s increased vulnerability to totalitarianism given decades of erosion of the nation’s foundational values. He cautioned that constitutional guardrails designed to protect the public from the abuse of state power have been weakened over time.

“Look, I live in Virginia,” Levin remarked. “The Democrats took over [Virginia] for the first time in modern times, the Assembly, the Senate, and the governorship. They have rammed through the most radical abortion laws, gun laws, taxes, and so forth, and they move fast. It takes not two years. It takes no time at all. Since we’re so detached from our Constitution, and we are in many respects a post-constitutional country, and I’ve talked about this before, and because of that because so many of our firewalls have already been breached.”

Levin continued, “There’s not a whole lot left to breach, and so they’re going to make a run, you know for the final jumping of these final firewalls in two years, and they’re telling us that. So this is so important.”

Levin concluded with praise for Breitbart News. “Thank God for Breitbart,” he said. “You do a tremendous show, and you guys are very very generous with your time and your support. I just want to thank you, and I want your audience to know that.”

Beto O’Rourke Expected to Teach at Texas State University in 2021

Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) is expected to teach Texas politics at Texas State University’s Department of Political Science in the Spring of 2021, according to the University Star.

“Pending finalization of his hire, O’Rourke will join the department as an instructor teaching a synchronous online class,” the article said.

Political Science Chair Ken Grasso told the paper O’Rourke gravitated toward Texas politics when the two discussed potential class subjects.

“He originally approached people in the administration… and expressed an interest in teaching,” Grasso noted, adding, “I was thrilled.”

“He’s got a unique take on things with his experience as a congressman and as [a] senatorial candidate and even a presidential candidate. So we’re very happy to have him,” he continued.

During an interview last week on MSNBC’s The ReidOut, O’Rourke told anchor Joy Reid he believed Democrats can win Texas in November, according to Breitbart News:

The Texas Democratic Party, the candidates, everyone’s doing their part. I think we can do this, Joy. I think we can end this on the third. You know, Pennsylvania will take days or maybe even weeks to count those ballots. Texas, we’ll know on the third. If we win Texas, it is over mathematically. It is over psychologically. We can turn the page on Trump and Trumpism and begin the next chapter for this country.

However, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) pushed back on the idea of Texas going blue during an appearance on Fox & Friends Wednesday:

Chuck Schumer has hand-picked my opponent and funneled millions of dollars there because they think they have a chance of turning Texas blue. What they didn’t calculate is that the radical policies of New York and California, from the Green New Deal, to Medicare for All, to eliminating fossil fuels, those aren’t going to play in Texas.

More than one million ballots were cast on Tuesday during Texas’ first day of early voting, according to Breitbart News.

“Harris County, a heavily Democrat county with the most people in the state, had the biggest turnout, with 170,000 ballots cast either in-person or by mail-in voting as of early Wednesday,” the report said.

How a Goya boycott led to a 'buycott'

First, the Goya Foods boycott turned into a “buycott.” Now the largest Hispanic-owned foods company is finding favorable backlash in the wake of the CEO’s praise for President Trump.

Company sales have been “fantastic” and “historic” following the controversy surrounding his positive comments for President Trump in July, according to CEO Robert Unanue.

“Our sales went up significantly since the pandemic,” Unanue told FOX Business’ Stuart Varney. “We did well because the restaurant business declined 70% but we also did well because of the backlash of a boycott to a buycott. We have our traditional customers, we kept them, but we also have new customers.”

It didn’t take long for Goya beans to become a weapon of politicization after the CEO spoke at a White House event for a Hispanic Prosperity Initiative, where he expressed his blessings for the President and called him “a builder.” Unanue was one of several Hispanic leaders attending the executive order signing to allow more taxpayer support to be invested in private and charter schools, in aim to “improve access by Hispanic Americans to education and opportunities.”

Celebrities, politicians and other popular figures took to social media to condemn Goya Foods, with hashtags like #BoycottGoya, #GoyaFoods and #Goaway circulating on Twitter.

Rep. Alexandria-Ocasio Cortez, for example, tweeted out her disapproval, saying she would find alternatives to one of Goya’s signature seasonings.

Even renowned Chef José Andres chimed in on social media, accusing Trump of leaving Latinos and many Americans hungry and neglecting Hispanics amid the pandemic.

The criticism towardsthe food brand and Trump prompted a counter-boycott and even inspired Goya Food supporters to contribute to a GoFundMe in efforts to buy Goya products for food pantries. The campaign has raised more than $300,000.

As the New Jersey-based company continues to see a significant growth in sales since the clash, its CEO continues to stand by President Trump and conveyed his blessings for his COVID-19 recovery.

Unanue told Varney, “In a little bit more than a week, he’s dancing 'YMCA' in incredible energy and encouraging all of us. This is sent from God, and we need to put God back in our country. We are one nation, under God. If we’re not under God, we are not indivisible.”
