My neighbor just told me that his son (who works in a major newsroom) told him that they were tasked with contacting the FBI to ask if they were looking into the origins of the Hunter Biden emails. Part of that line of questioning was, are they looking into the possibility that it is Russian disinformation. The FBI responded that they are looking into all possibilities, and then the decision was made to put out the story that the FBI was looking into the emails being Russian propaganda.
This is all just "headline spin" so don't fall for the tactic.
