GOP Senate Candidate Censored TWICE for Tweets on Mass Migration Calls for Jailing of Jack Dorsey

Delaware Republican senate candidate Lauren Witzke has been locked out of her Twitter account for a second time in a week, after posting a tweet about the Paris terrorist attack that was critical of immigration.

The candidate is now calling for Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and other big tech leaders to be jailed for violating the First Amendment rights of American citizens.

Witzke was locked out of her account last week for a tweet about the impact of mass migration into Europe.

The latest censorship came after Witzke shared a tweet that included a photo of a teacher’s severed head that was posted to Twitter by a man who claimed to have been the terrorist behind the attack. She commented “Mass third world immigration: The gift that keeps on giving!” along with the screenshot.

Twitter claimed that showing the result of mass migration violated their rules against “posting media depicting gratuitous gore.”

In response, Witzke told TGP that “Jack Dorsey and his ilk are authoritarian thugs who have more power than the worst dictators in history.” She stated that jail time should not be off the table for big tech leaders who are abridging the First Amendment rights of Americans.

“For too long, we’ve given Silicon Valley oligarchs a pass. They may not seem like strongmen or tyrants in a traditional sense, but Jack Dorsey and his ilk are authoritarian thugs who have more power than the worst dictators in history. In an era where most Americans get their information from social media, they control that flow of information and use it to help their far-left allies in the Democrat Party,” Witzke told the Gateway Pundit. “It’s time for the GOP to stop talking and take action against these social media monopolies who are abridging the First Amendment rights of Americans. Criminal liability resulting in jail time for Jack Dorsey and other Big Tech thugs who are interfering in our elections should not be off the table.”

In the tweet she was suspended for last week, Witzke had said, “Let’s be clear, mass migration absolutely destroyed Europe. Italy, France, Sweden and Germany took in tons of migrants who never assimilated. Rapes, murders, and other heinous crimes abound. I will end ALL immigration into the US for ten years.”

Twitter's Unholy Alliance With The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia

Last November, the U.S. Department of Justice charged two former Twitter employees with acting as unregistered agents of Saudi Arabia.

Twitter purports "to power positive global change by fostering respectful conversations, creating deeper human connections and encouraging diverse interactions among individuals." But the company acts without transparency, explanation or accountability in far too many cases.

For better and worse, social media platforms have become our public squares. We cannot allow them to continue to behave as private kingdoms.

Twenty-two years ago, the United States granted me political asylum. When my activism on behalf of women's rights, freedom of expression, and the right to dissent made it impossible for me to return to Saudi Arabia, America the land of the free took me in. But for the past two years, unbelievably, I've been fighting for my rights not in Saudi Arabia, but here in the United States. In May 2018, Twitter inexplicably closed my Arabic-language account, which had over 36,000 followers.

Twitter's actions are a matter of life and death for dissidents inside Saudi Arabia whose communications have been compromised by Twitter or its employees. The company must be held accountable for its actions.

Since Twitter banned my Arabic-language account, the Saudi government has arrested or disappeared people in the Kingdom who either followed me or contacted me via direct message on Twitter. While there is no way to know the exact number of those tortured, killed, or imprisoned by the Saudi regime, I know of dozens with whom I was in direct contact. I feel responsible.

Twitter has yet to explain why they closed the account and hasn't allowed me access to my account ever since. The company has refused to shed any light on the circumstances of my ban or whether the Saudis used information and messages connected to the account to crack down on fellow dissidents.

Last November, the U.S. Department of Justice charged two former Twitter employees with acting as unregistered agents of Saudi Arabia. The U.S. government accuses the two former employees, one of whom was a Saudi national, of using their employee credentials to gain unauthorized access to information about Twitter account holders and providing that information to officials of the Kingdom.

Thailand Protests Grow Fiercer Against Military Ruler & World's Richest Billionaire Monarch

Mass protests in Thailand demanding the removal of Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha, a former military ruler, have grown fiercer over the weekend despite days ago the government banning all political gatherings of five or more people. Thursday's anti-gathering order is part of a crackdown against the unrest and anger that's been on for months.

The protests have also increasingly been aimed Thailand’s King Maha Vajiralongkorn, officially known as King Rama X, widely considered to the most wealthy monarch in the world, with estimates putting his fortune starting at $30 billion up to $43 billion.

It's highly risky to direct public criticism at the king, something rare in the country's politics, given harsh majeste laws on the books which can result in 15 years in prison for "insulting" the monarchy.

The Thai government declared a state of emergency starting Thursday after tens of thousands brought central Bangkok to a standstill this week, which included an incident where a royal motorcade seeking to pass was obstructed. Beyond the removal of the prime minister, protesters are demanding major reforms to the monarchy and a new constitution.

Clashes with police are expected to continue through the weekend given the emergency law enraged the public further as it banned any news or online content that “could create fear or intentionally distort information” by harming the country's reputation or hindering peace and order.

This includes content on social media or blogs - a harsh response akin to the situation that developed last year amid Hong Kong unrest leading to China's controversial national security law.

Why Is Ernst And Young The Auditor At So Many Companies That Have Recently Imploded

If there's one tie that binds some of the more recent and obvious implosions in capital markets - Luckin Coffee, Wirecard and NMC Health to name a few - is that Ernst & Young has been the auditor.

The big four accounting firm has "missed red flags or failed to aggressively pursue them" at many of these companies ahead of their scandals, according to a new write up by The Wall Street Journal.

Regulators are now taking a look at E&Y's work, the report claims, as a result.

E&Y has stood by its work and has attested that it has high standards. But it's tough to not want to try and notice that a trend is emerging with companies that are blowing up spectacularly.

Andy Baldwin, EY’s global client service managing partner, told WSJ: "We take all issues extremely seriously."

E&Y also said it had roles in uncovering the fraud at two companies. The company has advocated for auditors to play a larger role in detecting fraud at companies, which would shift the onus on an industry that has been quick to back away at that responsibility for years.

E&Y has had "ties with executive and board members" at some of the troubled companies - including former E&Y partners sitting on companies' boards and audit committees.

The firm charges lower fees for audits than other big four firms, allowing them to take on more work. They also focus on younger, quick moving companies. For example, they prepared the audits for Google and Facebook, among others. It has a history of trying to attract companies that are looking to go public.

Mark Zuckerberg told Facebook engineers to tweak its algorithm to throttle traffic to certain news websites, according to report

Facebook altered its algorithm to prevent articles from certain news websites from appearing on its newsfeed, a new report states.

According to the Wall Street Journal, CEO Mark Zuckerberg approved the changes that would result in the websites receiving a cut in traffic and views three years ago.

The move came after the social media giant originally announced in 2017 that it would be rejigging its newsfeed to minimize the presence of political news and focus instead on posts from friends and family.

That decision was made in the wake of the 2016 election when Facebook had been accused of allowing sharing and posting of misinformation on its platform that affected voters.

Yet, according to the WSJ, executives at Facebook were concerned that these algorithm changes would have more of an effect on right-wing publications, such as the Daily Wire, then those on the left.

As a result, Zuckerberg approved engineers altering the algorithm once more, to redesign their intended changes so that left-leaning sites were more affected in the policy change than had originally been planned.

Those affected, the WSJ states, included the site Mother Jones, among others.

Zuckerberg has a personal relationship with Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro, they add, although they could not be described as friends.

'We did not make changes with the intent of impacting individual publishers,' a Facebook spokesman said.

Another policy change just last August also angered progressive sites who claim that Zuckerberg is less accommodating to their agenda.

The WSJ reports that Zuckerberg believed a new progressive news network, Courier Newsroom, which is part-owned by a left-leaning nonprofit with close ties to Democratic donors, was not a real news source because of its political ties.

The discussion around the legitimacy of Courier Newsroom as a news source lead to the decision in the summer to limit the reach of partisan-backed sites on Facebook.

This involved blocking their pages from inclusion in Facebook News, restricting their access to the Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp platforms and curtailing their advertising.

Acronym, the backer behind Courier Newsroom, claimed that this decision favored conservative sites.

The company has also come under fire from progressives over the decision not to remove posts deemed as false from President Trump.

Navy fires Fitzgerald XO

The executive officer of the guided-missile destroyer Fitzgerald was relieved late last month.

Cmdr. Chris Kennedy was relieved on Sept. 29 “due to a loss of confidence in her ability to serve as executive officer,” Cmdr. Nicole Schwegman, a Naval Surface Forces spokeswoman, said in an emailed statement.

The relief was not based on any investigation and was a matter of commanders losing confidence “in her abilities due to a review of her performance,” Schwegman said.

Kennedy became the Fitz’s XO in December, while the ship was still in a Mississippi shipyard undergoing massive repairs after a 2017 at-sea collision that killed seven sailors on board.

Fitzgerald has since arrived at its new home port in San Diego.

Schwegman said Kennedy declined to comment Friday.

Kennedy’s removal was not publicized due to a policy change that went into effect last year for reasons that remain unclear.

While reliefs of commanding officers are still announced, the service no longer publicizes firings of XOs or command master chiefs.

Cmdr. Mike Sledge is serving as the warship’s second-in-command until a permanent replacement is named.

Police and CPS missed three chances to put Lord Greville Janner on trial over child sex claims before his death aged 87, an inquiry has heard.

Lord Janner was accused of committing acts of abuse in children's homes, schools, a flat in London and in Parliament over the course of three decades.

Following his death in December 2015 an official report by a retired High Court Judge identified three occasions - in 1991, 2002 and 2007 - when the former Leicester West MP should have been put on trial.

The opportunities were missed because of mistakes made by the police or prosecutors, according to the 2016 report.

Iain Groundwell, former senior legal adviser at the Crown Prosecution Service, told the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA) that senior officers with Leicestershire Police seemed wary about investigating the politician.

Allegations against the former Leicestershire MP first emerged publicly in the trial of disgraced care home boss Frank Beck in 1991.

China is buying up Australian land, infrastructure and businesses at an alarming rate as it seeks to project power and influence beyond its shores.

The communist nation of 1.4billion people owns an airport in Western Australia, nine million hectares of Australian land, several Aussie coalmines and wind farms and even the Port of Darwin, a key strategic asset.

Mengniu Dairy will acquire Melbourne-based dairy company Lion Dairy & Drinks, which sells Big M, Dairy Farmers and Dare products.

Lion brands also include Yoplait yoghurt, Vitasoy, Pura and Farmers Union.

The portfolio has been on the market since October 2018, when Lion decided to concentrate on its beer brands including James Squire, Little Creatures, Tooheys and XXXX.

Mengniu Dairy, which is 16 per cent owned by food processing company Cofco, which is co-owned by the Chinese state, is also set to acquire Tasmanian baby formula company Bellamy's Organic for $1.5billion.

Earlier this month the Foreign Investment Review Board conditionally approved the takeover.

Before the takeover bid, shares in Bellamy's plunged 62 per cent in 18 months.

There were allegations the Chinese state brought this plunge about by not approving Bellamy's' request to sell organic formula in Chinese stores. The request is still pending.

The board of the Tasmania-based company denied the takeover had anything to do with fast-tracking Chinese regulation to allow expansion in the country.

In 2017, Chinese company Goldwind bought Stockyard Hill Wind Farm, which has 149 turbines 35km west of Ballarat, from Origin Energy for $110million.

Alan Jones sues SBS for defamation for implying he is a paedophile, racist and liar. So where’s the defamation?

Former 2GB radio announcer and current Sky News host Alan Jones is suing the SBS and SBS presenter Alex Lee for defamation which seems to be an attempt to re-write history as I personally can’t see a problem with what they have said about Jones. I put 30 questions to Alan Jones’s two barristers and lawyer as per below which they failed to respond.

“Veteran radio and television broadcaster Alan Jones is suing public broadcaster SBS for defamation over a television segment which he claims “greatly injured” his reputation by wrongly portraying him as a racist, a misogynist and a liar.” But they left the paedophile allegation right until the end of the article and gave no explanation what it was about although other media did.

The Guardian reported on Friday (16/10/20):

One of the alleged imputations was that “Mr Jones was a paedophile in that he had written a love letter to a schoolboy” and another that “he was a hypocrite, in that although being a broadcaster he had sued for defamation countless times”.

In the segment on The Feed, which has now been taken down by SBS, Lee said Jones “made a career out of bullying people” and “spread lies and fake news”, according to court filings.

She is also accused of mocking politicians, including Scott Morrison and Tony Abbott, for delivering what she described as “suck up tributes” to Jones. Lee said politicians “lined up to get one more wedgie for the road” during his final days on air on 2GB.

Days before he retired from 2GB, he was found to have breached broadcasting codes for decency in his use of “violent metaphors” about the New Zealand prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, and accuracy in his comments about climate change.

“So here is my tribute,” Lee said according to documents filed in court. “Alan Jones spoke to the fears of every xenophobe and misogynist in the country. He gleefully used racial slurs, saying the N-word twice on air. The problem for Jones at least in relation to the paedophile allegation is that he has now admitted that an adult sending a love letter to a schoolboy could be viewed that the adult sending it is a paedophile. So now Jones has to explain why he has not sued others such as Chris Masters, the SMH and myself for saying the same thing which I put to Jones’s lawyers today in the 30 questions below.
