Hunter is not Q. But maybe the choice of watch was a message to Hunter.
>because he 'knew' there was no sensitive info on that hard drive when he dropped it offโฆ
Nah. Any such shenanigans would create unacceptable risk of legal challenges.
I read it as Q alluding to the NSA recording the email delivery. They also would have seen the machine reach out to it's email server as soon as it was power on. And they would have seen the emails from the repair shop from they guy trying to find the laptop's owner. So they knew where some goodies existed and where they could be legally found.
โฆ And perhaps they contacted the repair shop guy with suggestions as to what he should to with the laptop.
Yeah, this place was designed with "Capital of the World" in mind.
^^^^^^
The 5min marks are lighter on Hunter's watch. And the minute marks in between are darker. Does that watch in a white/black reversed version?
>so why would the computer being fired back up in a repair shop have anything at all to do with this story
So the NSA became aware of the new location of a machine connecting to an email account they were watching. The repair shop. Then the look at repair-shop-guy's emails and learn that Hunter's laptop seems to have been abandoned.
It could be the same make and model if the black ink/paint has more sheen than the matte white clockface.
No, that's sectoral, or partial, heterochromia. Coloboma is a structural defectโฆ when you have a full-on hole in you iris.

KEK!
Here's a thoughtโฆ what if the choice of watch is meant to signify equivalent place on the opposite side?
