Child sex trafficking is a problem, but QAnon isn’t helping

A look inside the #SaveOurChildren campaign and the realities of child sex trafficking in the U.S.

By Erica Evans@Erica_Lee_Evans Oct 17, 2020, 10:01pm MDT

On a sweltering day in early September, about 15 people stood outside the Utah state Capitol with signs covered in red handprints that said, “#SaveOurChildren” and “End Child Trafficking.” Every few minutes, a car driving by the small-scale protest honked in support.

#SaveOurChildren is a social media movement that has gained traction this year across platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Marches have been organized in cities all over the country, from Spokane, Washington, to Reed City, Michigan. While many well-meaning individuals with genuine concern have jumped in to support the movement, anti-child trafficking advocates warn that #SaveOurChildren is not what it seems.

The International Labor Organization estimates that there were over a million childhood victims of commercial sex exploitation in 2016. But instead of raising awareness about the realities of child trafficking, the Salt Lake City group promoted a number of unfounded allegations and false claims. They alleged that Hillary Clinton and her circle of friends are involved in child trafficking for the purposes of pedophilia and satanic human sacrifice, and that the FBI is complicit.

'SNL' cold open mocks Trump, Biden dueling town halls

Viewers toggled between 'softball questions' for Jim Carrey's Joe Biden and and a showdown with 'surprise bada–' Savannah Guthrie for Alec Baldwin's President Trump

By Brie Stimson | Fox News

"Saturday Night Live" satirized President Trump and Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s dueling town halls this weekend by switching back and forth like a viewer watching them on TV.

George Stephanopoulos, played by cast member Mikey Day, said ABC was aiming for a "poorly attended college lecture” vibe with Biden’s socially distanced town hall. He said the audience was made up of people who were “half pro-Biden and half anti-Trump."

Comedian Jim Carrey reprised his role as “former vice president and future oatmeal spokesperson” Joe Biden.

“Are you ready for softball questions from folks that are already voting for you?” Stephanopoulos asked. He then warned questioners they had to limit how many times they said they hated Trump during their questions.

The channel then switched to NBC where “surprise bada–” Savannah Guthrie, played by cast member Kate McKinnon, assured viewers who were angry at the network for giving Trump a platform after backing out of the second debate.

“Just let me get a few questions in and I think you’ll thank me,” she said with a wink.

She said she had a lot of questions to get to but she’d like to start by “tearing” him “a new one.”

Trump, reprised by Alec Baldwin, told Guthrie he “more or less” condemns white supremacy and said his conversation with her was a preview of unpleasant Thanksgiving dinners that would be held across the country. “So crazy uncles, stand back and stand by,” he saluted to the camera.

The channel then continued switching between the town halls, arriving at one point with Biden telling rambling stories like the time he met the real Mickey Mouse at the 1939 World’s Fair, and then with Trump bragging about his health post-coronavirus and his one “beautiful” remaining lung.

Thousands protest Trump's Supreme Court pick at Washington

Women's March

By Reuters Staff

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Thousands marched to the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington on Saturday to commemorate the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and protest President Donald Trump’s rush to push through Amy Coney Barrett as her replacement.

The U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee has scheduled an Oct. 22 vote on the nomination of Barrett, a conservative appellate judge, over objections from Democrats that the confirmation process comes too close to the Nov. 3 presidential election.

More than 26 million Americans have already cast their ballots for who they want to sit in the White House for the next four years, Trump or his Democratic rival Joe Biden.

Demonstrators at the Women’s March said they were angry that Republicans appear ready to confirm Barrett’s nomination so close to Election Day after refusing to move forward Merrick Garland, the pick of former President Barack Obama, a Democrat, more than six months ahead of the 2016 election.

“The fact of the matter is that we are powerful and they are afraid,” said Sonja Spoo, the director of the reproductive rights campaigns at UltraViolet, a feminist advocacy group, one of the speakers at the protest. “They are on the ropes and they know it and we are about to give the knock-out punch.”

Ginsburg, a liberal champion of women’s rights, died on Sept. 18.

Prudence Sullivan, 49, from Lake in the Hills, Illinois, near Chicago, and her sister Kelli Padgett, 47, from Jacksonville, Florida, flew in to join what they described as an energizing and empowering event.

In their programmed minds it is about their reproductive right's and on some level I agree yet I am totally against mid and late term abortion.

So how did we get here?

Have you ever dug into the History of Abortion?

Disturbing to say the least and now we know that they turned it into a business model capitalizing on the sale of body parts and blood so I do not blame anons for not wishing to dive in. The Water is cold and deep.

Before abortion was legalized, subsidized and popularized there was a strong demand for abortion and adoption services yet the abortion side was kept quiet and so we can only estimate the real numbers.

I found that the two opposing forces in this battle are both wrong and for all the wrong reasons.

Most anons know the illogical reasons that the left are "champions" of abortion so I will not innumerate them now yet I found an even more disturbing reality that few wish to face.

What group dominates the Adoption Industry and has done so for centuries?

Would this group also oppose abortion because it would hurt their business model? $$$

Would this group also oppose contraception?

Do both the abortion and adoption industries prey upon the weak, the poor and lower classes?

Both sides of this debate remain willfully ignorant of the much deeper and darker reality.

I am sorry.

I feel that way a lot because of what I find when I dig.

I am sorry…

When does a Church become a playground?

When does a Church become a business?

When does a Church become political?

When does a Church become corrupt?

When does a Church become willfully blind?

When does a Church become controlled?

Church is right here and now.

If Jesus said the cool shit that is attributed to him then he is my Brother yet I ain't buying [THEIR] interpretation of the rest.

Can a freethinking anon get an Amen?!

We ain't winning shit.

America chooses POTUS regardless of what we do here as the majority have seen the light.

This is some baker crew bullshit so they can "adjust" the narrative and not ask the hard questions. How convenient for EVIL.
