I used to read Transformers and G.I. Joe back then and I always got a kick out of people writing in and trying like hell to get one. Funny how, technically speaking, both of those exist in the Marvel Universe (although Marvel wants everyone to just "forget about that one issue", lol).
Transformers ran for 80 issues and still sold more than 80,000 copies a month even when they got cancelled. G.I. Joe ran for much longer. By todays standards, well, I don't know if that is a good seller. I don't read comics any more but I still have my old ones.
A number of years ago I had a chance to own this for 400 dollars. I passed on it and I regret it every day.
