Netscren logs...but even then its not a perfect science even with that data. The only way to definitively tell is the patterns of attacks.

IPs mean nothing really. It is dynamic profiling that really dissects the patterns and payloads of the actual packets. Behavior analysis.

The other real telling thing is infiltrated chip sets from Chy-na and compromised devices that every single one of of us are using.
