Wishful immature thinking.
What has history taught us about what happens to the evidence? ALWAYS goes into 'sealed' or 'classified'… promise of investigation… then nothing, or massively reduced sentences. And the politicians get away with it because WE never knew how bad the real crimes were. The whole corrupt system DEPENDS on our ignorance so we never find out how little justice was done.
Calls to bottle up the evidence should never be respected again. When did the Constitution say that a 'fair trial' was only possible if the public & jurors were ignorant of the truth?
This system needs radical transparency, and we need to find a new normal around that reality.
