That sounds a little… Excessive?
There are some disturbing people out there, to be sure - but when claims of over-the-top violence come in, I temper my expectations. I think there are people who have spent a bit too much time with the hentai nuke codes and think that abuse is that sensationally over the top.
Perhaps I am wrong - and certainly there are people who have no problem sending us to war to die for nonsense reasons - but abuse is often about feelings of domination and control/power, when it starts getting weird - like bone breaking for the hell of it or literally eating people - I kind of expect that part of it to be disinfo to get people spun up and unable to discuss the more practical concerns related to abuse and human trafficking.
