Nothing. The ballots will still say Biden/Harris. It's too late to change them. But any electoral votes he still wins can be cast by the elector for whoever the hell they want, just like usual. They'll probably go to whomever the DNC trots out to replace Joe.
You miss the point. The election can be held with a name on the ballot for a guy who is no longer running. And those votes still have an effect. They could still win electors. Those electors could vote for Gary Busey is they wanted.

These things always get exaggerated in internet rumors. consider the rumors about Anthony Weiner's laptop and the so-called "Frazzeldrip" video with Human and Hillary. compare those rumors to the 2016 Breitbart article with Eric Prince. H suggest that Human and Anthony may have flipped because they "may' be facing jail time. There would be no possibility of getting off if the Frazzeldrip rumors are true.
I suspect this thing is being similarly exaggerated, and by the same people, to make the whole thing sound too crazy to be seen by the public as crazy conspiracy theory.
