A program called Light On was started after my friend Philando Castile was killed by a cop. He had been pulled over numerous times for lights on his car, etc.. They gave the police coupons from local repair shops to give out, so they still pull you over and can check what's going on but instead of a ticket, you get a free repair coupon. Its a good idea on quite a few levels.
