In Victorian era literature the term that was most commonly used was 'pederast'. This word comes from the Ancient Greek and refers to a relationship between a man and an adolescent youth.

Think cabin boys and all that nonsense. I get the impression that in the ancient world girls/women simply didn't count, so no-one thought to engage in sex with them. That appears to be a later invention.

The wiki page on 'Pederast' suggests that 'pedophilia' refers to the desire to have sex with pre-pubescent children and not the act itself.

Perhaps you need a different word. As in the elites would be doing not thinking about it.

I'm suggesting that in polite society doing young boys for pleasure was a thing. As women were for bearing children and not for having pleasure with, there was no incentive to do young girls.
