we would have drilled into abiotic reservoirs and served them up to you, tard.

I have 40 years looking for O&G - you got a clipping off the internet.

If we will drill to 30,000 ft in the Gulf of Mexico for oil, don't you think we would be all over abiotic if there were appreciable mounts of it? Don't you think Russia would have as well, to break the back of ME oil?

put yourself in tard jail for being so gullible and illogical

abiotic oil has a unique signature, just as every oil field does.

abiotic is normally found in very small collections AWAY from traditional deposits, and is so light it turns into gas when the pressure is removed by drilling into a formation which contains it.

lots of it was found while they were drilling in the Siljan Ring decades ago - one of the longest and deepest wells ever drilled.

We also found it in formations around the Chixlub Crater in Mexico.

yes - notice a pattern? kek!

not in the oil - but in the rock it is trapped within.

we have chemical catalogs of the hydrocarbon chains for most large reservoirs going back to the 1940's, so it's easy to see where oils are dissimilar or similar.

the shale technology is literally fracking into shale (oil source rocks) and squeezing the oil from them with pressure. Otherwise the kerogen in the shale percolates out as oil into surrounding rocks.

clear as mud, right?

hate it when people (not you anon) think oil guys are dumbfucks…kek

abiotic is most definitely 'real' anon.

finding more than a bucketful would cost gorillions more than traditional or non-traditional oil exploration - that's the rub.

and because it IS real, scammers and hucksters have used ti as bait for an entire century.

FYI - I watched from my tuck once where some guys filled up a tank battery from a truck. Then about an hour later a limo rolled up.

Guys in suits got out, and one opened a valve. The crude spilled out, everybody smiled and shook hands - they got in their limo and left.

that oil was planted, and the flow line one-way valve removed between the tank and wellhead. So these "savvy investors" saw oil flow from the tank, not the wellhead.

SMH… PT Barnum was so very right
