I’ve said this for years. Affirmative action is one of the most racist policies ever to be implemented. It operates under the assumption that POC can’t compete with whites and so they need the “extra boost” to get better opportunities. This completely destroys the work/merit mentality. Furthermore, it creates an inevitable race divide/resentment by whites who end up lower on the totem pole despite deserving that higher position.
