fyi subud was/is not a cult
there is no worship or leader
the organization does is provide places for the members to meet and practice a "submission to God" thru a practice developed by the founder
that said - the founder WAS recruited by intel spooks and did work for them believing it was patriotic for indonesia
and yes the spooks do use these orgs for this purpose as they travel etc are connected and suscebtible to approaches for a lot of real life reasons
i knew members of the group and believe fuddy was a managed tool
but again NOT a cult
spooks recruit from cults too but way more from normal groups of people who network
