WI is pretty screwed at this point -

the gov and several mayors are actively pulling all the stops: the newest is setting up the Milwaukee state fair park buildings as "COVID facilities" to take 500 "patients". Look at the setup - you will see they won't be very comfortable if brought in with advanced cases of flu - or any other illness for that matter. 1

Mind you, they have been on mandatory facemasks and 25% capacity in restaurants, bars and indoor gatherings for all these months. 2

The elderly who catch the flu are on mandatory isolation - barring nurses and heathcare facilities to enter their rooms to care for them and family from comforting them….ala NY's Cuomo. (that comes from talking to employees in these places)

I am getting the feeling that they are in for some very unpleasant times in that area. The weather has turned cold, and many are going to come down with the natural seasonal colds/flu - which could be easily construed as a "Covid outbreak".

eventually folks will snap out of this an take notice that their health department authorities, councilmembers, mayors and governors are going beyond their mandates…….way beyond.

note: WI is a swing state

maybe even THE swing state

If they can catch you with the sniffles and lock you up at these facilities, you cannot vote; you are stuck there for how many days?

plain as day - [they] might be making a play on tampering with an election…by tampering with the populace. Can't sauce that - just a hunch.

Also note: there are libraries around the city with unsecure ballot boxes set up so people can stroll over to the nearest and drop those ballots off. So convenient!

There are also funds pouring into local community organizations to "bring out the vote" - and remember: the Milwaukee council has been advised on covid response by non other than MoveOn.org.

I signed up to work at the polls, but never heard back from them. gee I can't imagine why?
