something just hit me: what if google execs/employees got "tricked" by their own algorithm? i mean they're very unlikely to use anything other than google, and throughout the years they probably slightly shifted their algorithm to lean more and more left, maybe seeing only their own views in the search engine reinforced their belief that it was the truth
i don't really believe it myself but it's still an entertaining thought i think
You may be right, anon. looking at the design of the wall between the windows in the photo it seems plausible it could look similar on the outside. Masonry or steel pillars on the outside of the building and windows between them.
