EuroAnon here, I have a question for USAnons:

After four more years of Trump, I just suppose a lot of the shit have been cleaned up and restored. I have dreamed of moving to the US for 15 years, never got around to it, but would like to take the step when the real USA is fully re-instated. I want to live in rural area, preferably pacific north-west. Question: What likeliness would it be to provide for self as self-employed in bricklaying and plastering? I am very good at it, and know how to work, as well as having good social skills.

What do you think?

Thanks for the answers, I appreciate it, gives me a base-line picture of the situation.

PNW because I have a few contacts there already. Could be an entry-point.

Chimney work, firestoves and such is no problem, so I think I would not need to be dependent on the big-scale contracts. And I would rather stay out of EQ high-risk areas.

I love doing things with exceptional quality and precision, that is my thing. And to leave a super clean workplace for the next guy or home owner. That makes me respect myself, which is the most important for me. But I'm not cheap :)
