Am I the only anon who has this figured out? Disneyland TOLD their employees back in March that the parks would not be opening until January 2021. I have several friends that work there.
Now, think about what happens: Disney is closed, the entire draw to the area is suddenly gone. Disney is starved for land out in Anaheim. But - HEY - if we could BANKRUPT all these places around the park, then we can buy up the closed businesses and EXPAND.
The President of Disneyland Resort gave a convincing performance when he protested Newsom's restrictions. But, knowing that Disneyland employees knew FROM THE BEGINNING that DL wasn't opening until January 2021, that dog don't hunt.
Nah - this is the Disney C_A Florida land-grab CALIFORNIA STYLE. This is how you expand Disneyland when you've run out of Disney-owned property. You drive it out of business and buy it up. Classic Disney.
