In the absence of a Mac and a copy of Messenger to play with, I tried to render the exact text in Lucida Grande (the default Mac GUI font) in GIMP. It's not exact. There seem to either be slight differences in the free font I found or in the Linux rendering code. But I'd say that "natalie" is very plausible.
Anyone could have registered those.
