It’s not a joke. When God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah he turned Lot’s wife into a pillar of salt for looking back and taking pity on them.
That’s a pretty strong resolve that this is something quite intolerable in Gods eyes. And now the leader of the Catholic Church endorses gay marriage.
