Is it possible that not only Hunter flipped but also Joe Biden? That Joe Biden sacrificed the Democratic Presidential Candidacy for the redemption of his son Hunter?

Looking at the fact that hunter said that only if Joe runs for office could Hunter redeem himself. So Joe chose to run knowing that these charges would eventually be levelled against him, eventually ruining the Democratic Presidential candidate. If Joe never ran the evidence on Hunters laptop could never have been used against the Democratic Presidential candidate.

The Good Guys knowing that Joe Biden would eventually be the Democratic Presidential Candidate, used dirt on Hunter to get to Joe. Hunter was probably threatened with being charged and put away for life, but offered a chance to redeem himself if Joe would turn and play along knowing he and his candidacy would eventually end up in scandal. So Joe chose to bail out his son and play along. Hence the hard drive from hell.

So the Deep State never knowing about this offer ran with Joe, according to their plan never knowing what they were about to walk into. They knew about the hard drive but thought they had everything covered up. The good guys likely played along, never admitting any knowledge.
