The simplest method is to:
1) think of each sentence within a crumb as being a piece of data,
2) Where a piece of data (sentence) includes, say, [3] it should be related to all other sentences including a [3],
3) When the "[3] data" is grouped together and read in whole, it (hopefully) provides different meaning or additional data,
4) Need to decide whether to group the data in time sequence or using some other key,
5) Potentially we also then decode the grouped "[3] data" as if it were an additional post.
