BS. Circuit Courts are the activists here. They are overriding, or allowing election boards to override, legislative protocol for election.
SCOTUS is up to its usual trick, letting circuit courts do the dirty work (same trick used against the RKBA), and simply standing aside and letting it go on.
Courts are HIGHLY involved, and HIGHLY partisan. Failed institution.
