I just saw the piece on Tucker's show about the New York restaurant manager who was "cited" by a health inspector for having the doors of the restaurant open (eating inside was not permitted). I had to stop watching the segment because I was becoming angry.

 

Columbia MO is, I believe, the third largest city in Missouri after Kansas City, MO and St. Louis. It is a big college town and has a large number of hospitals. It is also a Democrat enclave with many positions in the upcoming election with only a Democrat running.

 

The Health Department in Columbia, MO has doubled down on a lot of COVID rules. I heard a news story about pushback from the City's Chamber of Commerce and here is the letter I found.

I think Q suggested that "public health" officials should be elected (and term limited?). I think "public health" should be eliminated as an entity governing our affairs in any manner what-so-ever.
