Anyone know what significance the palm tree is to masonry? There is some sort of palm tree logo that I am trying to figure out. It must have some meaning. I see some lodges use royal palm.

anything specific about Egypt? Some sort of ritual? I guess that is what I mean. There must be some story connected to it, like corn, wine, and oil (Ba'al worshipers).
I suspect that the palm tree or royal palm is symbolic for something. Kind of like the Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
