Circa 2015 anon spent some time in China. A friend there had a Honda Civic, except it wasn't a Honda. Story goes that Honda had contracted a company to build in China, then fallen into legal dispute and cancelled the deal. But the company went ahead and built the same cars with a different badge. So my friend just ordered Honda badges and installed them.

Of all the naive observations, this one really must be the winnar. "Does no good"? This guy is fucking delusional.

Our ships standing there have Xi quaking in his Italian loafers. Chicoms have used bluster and bully tactics for decades in the region, and need someone to bluster and bully them back.

I know anons know this but what a fucking retard. "Lets just get along with the Chinese" isn't cutting it anymore.

Oh with those guys it is totally different. The question would be, what did everyone ELSE think of the car. They only value the badge on something (if it is convincing), not the quality beneath. So in his case, he got an awesome deal on a cheaper "Honda" that everyone will think is a Honda. Win.
