I interview people for a living and absolutely detest weasels that answer this way. How about a simple yes or no? Any time they answer this way they're hiding the truth, and you have to keep asking with the goal of getting yes or no out of them. People from all walks of life obfuscate in this fashion.
This is obvious to anyone with any sense. After reading the transcript of the arrest, the toxicology report and watching the body cam footage, it will be very hard to prove murder in this case, cuz he was in heading towards his death before cops ever got there.
