as well calvinists are born not knowing they have been purchased. someone must inform them (evangelism) of the PLAN of God. And they must still work out their salvation day by day..just because Jesus died, does not mean that those he died for can live like Satan, actually their conscience will not allow it, their spiritual eyes are opened, and in obedience they either live a life of good works because they are already saved or they torture themselves in disobedience sinning repeatedly, until God knocks them off their high horse and brings them to their knees..a good father spanks his child to keep him from the wrong path, we do have a set of choices every day we wake up, and God nudges us along a path that is in our best interest, puts good things before us, blesses us with grace and gifts. Even if we NEVER sin (impossible) theres still the guilt of Adam placed upon all of us, and no amount of good works or repentance or belief in Christ can undo that. only the cross was sufficient. Unconditional Election: (Romans 9:15) God chose before the universe was created which humans would have Christs blood applied to their and adams sin ( the judicial position), not based on our future actions…our actions do nothing, because if God does not Raise Us Spiritually from the dead , we can not believe.
Limited Atonement: (John 10:11) Jesus died only for the elect. Though Jesus’ sacrifice was sufficient for all, it was not efficacious for all. Jesus only bore the sins of the elect.
Irresistible Grace: (John 6:28) God offers to all people the gospel message. This is called the external call. But to the elect, God extends an internal call and it cannot be resisted.
Perseverance of the Saints: (John 10:27) Jesus said His sheep will never perish
Don't give arminianism too much credit, they taught that God was a gentleman, waiting (without knowing in advance of your choice, because free will isnt free if God knows the final outcome) for YOU to repent and say a sinners prayer, waiting for YOU to make the first move..a soda machine of salvation as Dr Bob Morey puts it, the prayer is the quarter, and the salvation soda drops down into your hands, all you have to do is pay the price and push the button…the soda machine never runs out of sodas….obviously a faulty position, because we cannot pay the price, and God is not a wimp " i hope so and so says the sinners prayer today…" biting his fingernails in anticipation…I do not Serve or Worship a weakling.
