I have noted a coincidence.

In the movie, Monsters Inc., the story obviously follows the real world evil of kidnapping and terrifying children to harvest Adrenochrome.

The heroes eventually put a stop to this evil conspiracy which is found to go all the way to the top, to a Soros looking monster.

As the end of the movie approaches, and the final happy ending, Mikey takes Sully by the hand and says to come with him for a minute, that he wants to show him something.

The clock on the wall in this scene is at 4:26.

From the exact end of Mikey saying to come with him for a MINUTE he wants to show him something (at 1:24:00) until Sully opens the the door to Boo again and she calls his name “kitty!” is EXACTLY 1 minute (1:25:00) just as Mikey said.

This puts us at 4:26 + 1 minute = 4:27

Then, the movie goes for 4 more seconds, moving into the 28th minute, where Sully sees Boo and SMILES…

This puts us just into the 28th minute by four seconds, and the movie ends at 1:25:04.

In a powerful sense this then is the 4th hour, the 28th minute.

This makes 4:28 much bigger than simply a prediction of one person’s fate. It would make 4:28 a milestone and metaphor for the final happy ending for the whole Plan; predicted in a movie in 2001.

Sully’s smile, and the smile with 4:28 left in another movie we both know, seems to coincidentally intersect. No?

Also, there seems to be a neon “kitty” on the skyline along with a sign for a pizza joint among other things in this other movie.

What say you? Coincidence? Providence? Happy accidence?
