the problem is that only BO AND BV can assess their track record because they can see their post history. no one else can do that. that's why they were always the ones to check bakers when they handed off. and the first 5 posts need to be there for new eyes, for easier access for diggers and so that anons can read the research/news that has already been posted before they post. back in the day anons used to have high standards and avoided repeat posting. now that this place has become more popular all standards have gone to shit and 80% of the posts are "omg Q we love you hahah spouse anon says hi!"

i haven't been here for all that drama but i can tell you "notetakers" were never a part of baking and have contributed to the decline of this board. if you can't take notes, you shouldn't be baking. baking isn't supposed to be a "team" effort. and bakers shouldn't be coordinating ANYTHING outside of this board.
