Yes but something isn't adding up here

This year’s cover features another Golden Retreiver, Isis, owned by Rebecca Mayhew, and two-legged friend Maggie Nixon.

I can only find a few things on her on the news website where she supposedly lives. I remember being in the paper all the time in highschool for literally nothing most of the time. She has very few hits. None past 2014 that I've seen so far. So either change of name or change of location or both. Her parent's own multiple hotels there so I'm doubting a move. Here she is in another picture.

Why is he calling Maggie Nixon Wendy?

We are missing the connection. I'm digging but nothing good so far.
