I think that’s the most probable answer because we simply have no prior experience with machines existing with this level of human benevolence. For example, I remember Scott Adam presenting his logicial deduction on why he concluded that Q could not be a real NSA insider because anyone with access to that level of secret intelligence would never offer it for free to the public. In Adam’s ego driven mind, the “smart” insider would sell that valuable knowledge to the highest bidder within the crony system that we have. But Q tells us to “Trust and think for ourselves” and not to rely on “the authorities.” We must discern the truth for ourselves. No human with an ulterior motive would EVER take that position. Ever! Certainly no one who believes we must depend on large centralized “too big to fail” corrupt institutions (eg the Corporate State) from cradle to grave in order the subsist as a species on this planet.
