If they really were their parents and they just left them there, what kind of people are they? what does that say about them?
For this kind of thing, no other entity in the US has the logistics and personnel capable of pulling off something like that in such a large scale operation.
It comes down to the supply chain. Potus was right. Even if you used amazon, the post office, everyone to deliver supplies, you would need to get every hospital, critical care center, nursing home attendant in the nation, to do what the military can do and the coordination for that would just be unrealistic.
