That was always my thinking. The major draw to using drugs is the Streisand effect by making it illegal. Make drugs legal and you also take it away from cartels.

Always. That's why taxing let's say Cigarettes must be tempered with a realist tax rate. I read that California wants to raise it again to pay for the shut down shortfalls.
