Keep in mind where we are and who anons are. We are generally at the upper ends of experience or intelligence and have each carved a path on our way here that evidences why we each have an ego.
To put it simply, the only people who speak, here, are those who feel they are saying something worth saying. I know people who are relatively active on other parts of the chans who avoid this board simply because they know what it means to be posting here. Each of us who post here have an ego that can slug it out with a battleship when we want it to.
And some are quite content to blast away at anything that moves. Others like to think their battleship is the USS Johnston and that they are the last stand against the imperial navy.
And you're not going to convince them their actions are unnecessary or excessive for those who have decided on that. They have to figure that one out on their own. There are plenty of people who have staked a part of their identity on what happens here, and as such will war it out with each other regardless of whether they are disinfo agents or impassioned fools.
