He was charged with two counts of second-degree rape and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said.

He also faces a first-degree criminal contempt charge for violating an order of protection he received during the May arrest for allegedly giving a vape to one of his teen victims.

He was held overnight at Suffolk County’s Sixth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.

Sanctions on Nord Stream 2 Hinder Post-Covid Economic Recovery, Rosneft CEO Says

According to US Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, the Russian government is continuing to engage in dangerous cyber activities aimed at the US and its allies. He also noted that the current administration will protect the critical infrastructure of the United States from anyone attempting to disrupt it.

The United States has imposed sanctions against Russia on numerous occasions and under various pretexts: Crimea's reunification with Russia, accusations of Russia’s alleged invasion of Ukraine, and allegations of Moscow’s interference in US elections have been in place for a long time.

The Kremlin views US sanctions against the country and its entities as a continuation of a destructive policy that damages bilateral relations and constitutes unfair competition on the global market.

Is China Now In Control of Our Flow of Information?

China's desire for global dominance is no secret. Since its entrance into the World Trade Organization in 1991 at the urging of Bill Clinton and Joe Biden, Americans have been aware of China's economic and military rise to power. The election of President Trump and his Make America Great Again campaign slowed the inroads they were making and highlighted our Congress' inability or unwillingness to protect American interests for the last few decades.

The Chinese Wuhan virus unleashed upon us at the beginning of this year focused a spotlight upon our vulnerability to protect ourselves as American industries (pharmaceutical, steel, and mineral mining) were no longer operating on our shores, but instead were now Chinese assets. The focus on China as a formidable enemy was quickly squashed by many American institutions from academia, sports, Hollywood, press, and the mainstream media. The attention upon China was quickly replaced with the onus on our president with unfounded accusations for the spread of the virus and for not doing enough to stem it. Regardless of President Trump's effort to halt the spread of the virus as early as Jan. 31, by instituting a travel ban on China, ordering production of ventilators, and using of our military's floating hospitals, the media perpetuated the lie that President Trump was guilty of mishandling the virus.

Prior to the outbreak of the virus, those few sport figures, who stood up for the thousands of Hong Kong demonstrators marching in the street begging to be free, were quickly admonished and told to stand down by team owners who sought to appease their Chinese overlords. LeBron James and Colin Kaepernick proudly took a knee and denounced our flag and their teammates in unison followed suit. The organized riots by Antifa and Black Lives Matter that followed George Floyd's death brought to light the role the Chinese Communist Party played in supporting their proxies that were now controlling our American streets. BLM organizer, Patrisse Cullors, has stated on camera that she and her other founders are "trained Marxists". Their goal is a Communist revolution here at home and to that end, they have been supported by American corporations who have donated a billion dollars to BLM. The money is being funneled to the Democrat Party and it is being used to invoke cultural Marxism through television ads, magazines, and educational institutions from kindergarten through universities.

Trump Fires Back After Obama Mocks Him – Says Ex-President Is ‘Campaigning For Us’

Yesterday, we reported that Barack Obama had mocked President Donald Trump while campaigning for Joe Biden in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Now, President Trump is firing back at him in a big way.

‘Obama Is Campaigning For Us’

“Obama is campaigning for us. Every time he speaks, people come over to our side,” Trump tweeted. “He didn’t even want to endorse Sleepy Joe. Did so long after primaries were over!”

Despite the fact that Biden was Obama’s former Vice President, he waited to endorse him until April, when it seemed certain that he would secure the nomination. During a rally in North Carolina, Trump pointed out that it “took forever” for Obama to publicly endorse Biden. Trump went on to recount a conversation he had with a staffer who said Obama campaigning for Biden could be “bad news” for his re-election campaign.

“Somebody said, ‘Sir, maybe this isn’t good. President Obama’s campaigning for sleepy Joe Biden.’ I said, ‘That’s good news or bad news? Tell me, are you saying it’s good or it’s bad?’ ‘Well, I guess it’s bad.’ No, it’s good,” Trump said. “There is nobody that campaigned harder for ‘Crooked’ Hillary Clinton than Obama. He was all over the place.”

Obama Mocks Trump

Trump’s tweet came one day after Obama said at a rally that with the current president out of the White House, “you might be able to have a Thanksgiving dinner without an argument.”

“You’ll be able to go about your lives knowing that the president is not going to retweet conspiracy theories about secret cabals running the world or that Navy Seals didn’t actually kill Bin Laden,” Obama added, according to Fox News. “Think about that. The president of the United States retweeted that. Imagine.”

In his first official appearance on the campaign trail for Biden, Obama claimed that Trump isn’t interested in being president and that he has treated the job like a reality show.

“And by the way, even his TV ratings are down, so you know that upsets him,” Obama said. “The thing is this is not a reality show, this is reality and the rest of us have had to live with the consequences of him proving himself incapable of taking the job seriously.”

China angered by U.S. arms sales to Taiwan, threatens sanctions

U.S. has said Taiwan needs to 'fortify itself' against any attempts by China to isolate the island

China threatened on Thursday to retaliate against the latest U.S. arms sale to Chinese-claimed Taiwan, as the island welcomed the weapons package but said it was not looking to get into an arms race with Beijing.

The Trump administration has ramped up support for Taiwan through arms sales and visits by senior U.S officials, adding to tensions between Beijing and Washington, already heightened by disagreements over the South China Sea, Hong Kong, human rights and trade.

Beijing has applied increasing pressure on democratically ruled Taiwan to accept China's sovereignty, including by flying fighter jets across the sensitive mid-line of the Taiwan Strait, which normally serves as an unofficial buffer.

Beijing considers Taiwan a wayward province it has vowed to reunite with the mainland, by force if necessary. Washington considers it an important democratic outpost and is required by law to provide it with the means to defend itself.

Responding to the U.S. approval of a potential $1.8 billion US arms sale to Taiwan, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said during a daily news briefing that such sales should stop.

Buzzfeed Tries To Dismiss Hunter Biden Emails As ‘Stolen,” Gives No Evidence To Support Claim

Media outlets continue to claim the bombshell emails detailing Biden family corruption are “misinformation” or “disinformation” without providing evidence of such. Neither Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden nor his son Hunter, at the center of the scandal, have made such claims.

The latest claim comes from Buzzfeed, which reported late Thursday night that the emails contained on a computer hard drive apparently belonging to Hunter were “stolen.”

“For two weeks Trump and his supporters have latched on with new vigor to the narrative — enabled in part by the opinion sections of Rupert Murdoch’s two main US newspapers — that involves stolen emails and screenshots of DMs of questionable provenance. To give an idea of just how confused the narrative is, hours after the Wall Street Journal’s op-ed section published a piece blasting Biden Thursday night, its news division essentially published a debunk,” the outlet reported.

Commentator Stephen L. Miller tweeted that Buzzfeed made “an interesting claim,” given the fact that the outlet hasn’t “disproven the authenticiry[sic] of any texts or emails, nor is there evidence the contents of the laptop now in FBI possession were stolen.”

“The Biden campaign has not made either of these claims, nor denied the contents,” Miller added.

In the paragraph, Buzzfeed links to a story about Twitter censoring the original New York Post article about the emails. That article, however, doesn’t prove the emails were stolen.

“Contrary to Twitter’s claims, there’s nothing to suggest at this point the laptop was stolen. The Post reported in its first bombshell story that the laptop came into its possession after it was declared abandoned property at a computer repair shop in Delaware. The store owner told the Post it was dropped off in April 2019 and the owner, suspected to be Hunter Biden, never paid for the service or came to retrieve the computer. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told Fox News he found the hard drive at the store in Delaware after its owner contacted an associate and in turn, gave it to the Post,” The Federalist reported.

Buzzfeed also claims in that paragraph that The Wall Street Journal “essentially published a debunk” of the whole scandal. This is not true. The Wall Street Journal merely notes that there are no corporate records that Joe Biden was involved in his son’s business dealings.

That narrative disproves nothing, as Hunter’s former business partner, Tony Bobulinski, said Joe Biden was not to be mentioned in records, but that he was definitely involved.

Clintons Accepted Up To $100,000 From Hunter Biden’s Chinese Energy Firm

The Clinton Foundation accepted a donation between $50,001 and $100,000 from CEFC China Energy Company, the firm which Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter appears to have leveraged his father’s office to gain equity and kickbacks from.

CEFC China Energy is the company implicated in the first New York Post email drop from the article, “Emails reveal how Hunter Biden tried to cash in big on behalf of family with Chinese firm.” Emails obtained by the outlet show how Hunter Biden “pursued lucrative deals involving China’s largest private energy company — including one that he said would be “interesting for me and my family.”

The emails reveal that a potential “remuneration package” for the CEFC deal included a potential “Chair / Vice Chair” position and a 20 percent stake in the venture for Hunter Biden along with “10 held by H for the big guy.” Hunter Biden’s business partner Tony Bobulinski, also attached on the email thread, confirmed that the “big guy” is a reference to Joe Biden.

Hunter Biden described a three-year consulting contract he inked with the CEFC China Energy Company president Ye Jianming that earned him $10 million annually “for introductions alone.”

Republican Congressman And His Family ‘Threatened’ At Their Home

Tom Reed (R-NY) released a statement on Friday afternoon indicating that he and his family were threatened at their home today by someone who left a dead animal and a brick with a family member’s name on it at the residence.

“Today, my family and I were threatened at our home in Corning,” Reed said in a statement. “The cowards used a dead animal and a brick with a family member’s name on it to try to intimidate us.”

“We assure everyone such threats only energize us to stand stronger,” Reed continued. “We thank the local police and federal authorities, who are already investigating this disgusting attack against my family. Across the country, politics has taken a disturbing turn. We have to overcome this. I know that we can. We are all Americans first. What unites us is far greater than our political differences.”

Leading Gun-Control Group Abandons $60 Million Spending Pledge

The nation's top gun-control group is falling far short of its 2020 election spending pledge with less than two weeks to go before Nov. 3.

Despite promising to spend $60 million in 2020, Everytown for Gun Safety—founded by billionaire Michael Bloomberg and backed primarily by wealthy donors—has spent less than $26 million, according to Federal Election Commission records. Even with the cash on hand reported by the group in its latest filing, it will only be able to spend less than half of its goal without a massive cash injection before the election.

The latest filing for Everytown's super PAC, which has done nearly all of the group's political spending in 2020, shows the group had just over $4.6 million remaining in the bank on Oct. 15. It brought in just over $1 million—with over 85 percent coming from large donors—in September. However, even if the group repeated its best 2020 performance when it brought in a $7 million donation from former Microsoft CEO and Clippers owner Steve Ballmer in April, it would still be tens of millions of dollars short of its pledge.

When the group has bought advertising it has shied away from gun control. In ads targeting swing-state Republicans, the group has focused on issues like health care and energy production. The downturn in spending coupled with the messaging shift could signal that liberal donors and strategists believe gun control is not a winning 2020 issue—especially with recent record gun sales and a rush of new gun owners across the country.

"I'm not surprised," Joyce Malcolm, the Patrick Henry professor of constitutional law and the Second Amendment at George Mason University, told the Washington Free Beacon. "With calls to defund the police and a record-setting 11 million applications for purchase of guns in the first six months of this year (40 percent of which are first-time gun purchasers), Americans are more concerned with their safety and that of their families from violent riots and mayhem than gun control."

Everytown did not respond to a request for comment on its political activities, but the spending picture in late October is much grimmer than when it announced the $60 million goal in January. The group said it would spend double what it did in 2018 and even surpass the $50 million the National Rifle Association spent helping elect Donald Trump and other Republicans in 2016.

"The gun-safety movement has never been stronger or larger—and we're going to meet this moment with our most aggressive, well resourced, and grassroots-powered electoral program ever," Shannon Watts, founder of Everytown subsidiary Moms Demand Action, said when announcing the program.

Instead, Everytown is being outspent by the NRA. The NRA's PAC—which raised two-thirds of its haul from small donors—brought in more cash than Everytown in September. When combined with the NRA's super PAC, the gun-rights group had a roughly $3 million cash-on-hand advantage over Everytown as of October.

Another Apollo Investor Freezes New Capital Over Leon Black's Epstein Ties

Two days ago, when reporting that one of the largest investors in private equity giant Apollo - the Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System - halted all new capital commitment over co-founder Leon Black's ties to Jeffrey Epstein, we said that "now that the pension fund has made a "virtue signaling" example, other investors will promptly follow suit."

This was confirmed just hours later, when Bloomberg reported that another investment advisor, Cambridge Associates, was considering not recommending Apollo funds.

And now, a third Apollo client, Aksia, which advises on more than $160 billion of investor commitments, told clients to not give new money to Apollo in the latest sign of "the investor revolt facing the money manager." To contain the fallout, Apollo earlier this week said it was hiring law firm Dechert to investigate the relationship.

Aksia, which advises pensions, endowments and other large institutions, has begun communicating the move to its clients, with Bloomberg reporting that the reason for the move were "lingering questions over Apollo co-founder Leon Black’s relationship with disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein."

"Aksia believes it is prudent to delay any new commitments or investments with Apollo funds until the result of Dechert’s study are disclosed," Aksia told clients. "Should Dechert’s review uncover that Mr. Black had knowledge of or participated in any illegal activity, investors that recently committed new capital to an Apollo fund could be subject to intense scrutiny."

The growing funding freezes were sparked by a NYT report that the Apollo chief had wired more than $50 million to Epstein in the years following his 2008 conviction for soliciting prostitution from a teenage girl. Black, 69, has said he did nothing wrong and claims he turned to Epstein for financial matters, such as taxes, estate planning and philanthropy. As a reminder, this is a man who is surrounded 24/7 by some of the smartest tax experts and estate planners who also happen to work for him.

Black and Epstein were friend since at least the early 1990s, Bloomberg has reported, and from time to time, "Epstein met with Black at Apollo’s New York offices, and he pitched personal tax strategies to the firm’s executives." One can only imagine just much scarier their tax returns would be compared to those of Donald Trump.

Apollo said earlier this week that Dechert will conduct a review to independently evaluate Black’s past descriptions of a professional relationship with Epstein.

Oddly, the review comes after the private equity giant already conducted an internal review into its involvement with Epstein to ensure that any ties went no further than the firm’s co-founder, people with knowledge of the matter said last year. That included examining emails and records to determine there was no connection between the company and Epstein, one of the people said. Naturally, it found nothing wrong.

BofA: Fed Will Use Digital Dollars To Unleash Inflation, Universal Basic Income And Debt Forgiveness

When we recently described the upcoming "Unprecedented monetary overhaul" which will come in the form of the Fed sending out digital dollars directly to "each American", we explained that "absent a massive burst of inflation in the coming years which inflates away the hundreds of trillions in federal debt, the debt tsunami that is coming would mean the end to the American way of life as we know it. And to do that, the Fed is now finalizing the last steps of a process that revolutionizes the entire fiat monetary system, launching digital dollars which effectively remove commercial banks as financial intermediaries, as they will allow the Fed itself to make direct deposits into Americans' "digital wallets", in the process enabling truly universal basic income, while also making Congress and the entire Legislative branch redundant, as a handful of technocrats quietly take over the United States."

In short, we laid out the Fed's true reasoning behind the coming Digital Dollars not as how Fed Chair Powell recently described them, which as a reminder was as follows:

Faster and cheaper transactions

Addressing a decline in the use of physical currency

Modernizing the payments infrastructure

Reaching consumers who have been traditionally underserved by financial institutions

… but as a short circuit to a clearly broken monetary transmission mechanism, one which seeks to facilitate universal basic income and unlimited helicopter money, by completely overhauling how money reaches Americans.

Of course, it would be heresy to admit that the Fed's true motive is to effectively spark runaway inflation as that would provoke howls of outrage from ordinary Americans if they only learned that the $1000 or so in "free money" they would receive from the Fed was not a gift, but a curse which would make their cost of living unbearable in very short notice. And yet none other than DoubleLine recently penned a scathing op-ed admitting just that, warning that "The Pandora's Box Of Fed's Digital Currency Will Ignite An Inflationary Conflagration."

Today, none other than BofA chief investment strategist also takes the plunge into "tinfoil land", which of course is where the truth can be found, and admits the truth about digital currencies.

Hartnett begins by laying out a short history of revolutionary monetary policies, writing that in the past 13 years central banks have cut interest rates 972 times, bought $19tn of financial assets via QE, introduced NIRP, ZIRP, YCC, TLTROs, resulting in a near-record $16.8tn of negatively-yielding global bonds.

FDA Finally Allows AstraZeneca To Restart US COVID-19 Vaccine Trials

More than a month after US authorities halted trials for the AstraZeneca-Oxford COVID-19 vaccine, the FDA has reportedly signed off on allowing AstraZeneca to move forward, despite the recent death of a patient in one of its Brazilian trials (though it appears now that the subject received a placebo, not the vaccine candidate itself).

Per WSJ, the FDA has finally finished its investigation into an incident in September where two subjects in a UK trial of the vaccine appeared to develop symptoms of a rare neurological disorder. Any connection to the vaccine has been conclusively ruled out, as the regulator corroborated findings from British regulators. The FDA has spent weeks investigating whether the symptoms of transverse myelitis, which has been linked in the past to adenirus-vector vaccines similar to the COVID-19 vaccine being tested by AZN, had any connection to the trial.

Trials were halted in the US for weeks, but have continued pretty much everywhere else, including the UK and Brazil.

Shares of the drugmaker rallied on the news.
