I've been thinking about the laptops being dropped off at the repair shop

It just doesn't make sense that Hunter had 3 laptops and needed the data recovered (on the work order)

But if he was trying to squirrel them away somewhere it makes more sense

The heat is on, so you take them to the repair shop and leave them there, planning to pick them up when it all dies down

But it doesn't die down and the clock runs out
