A group known as "Netanyahu's loyalist" flew a helicopter draped with a banner wishing the PM a happy birthday.
A group of avid supporters of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have decided to organize a celebration across the country for his 71st birthday.
A group known as "Netanyahu's loyalists" launched a helicopter above Rishon LeTsiyon, to which they had hung a sign wishing the prime minister happy birthday, and later flew across the country to display it.
Another celebration took place in the form of a car convoy in which each car was adorned with various posters and birthday wishes. Each car also played Likud jingles.
Friday saw another such convoy leave from Mount Gilboa all the way to his house in Caesarea to "demand justice for him" and wish him a happy birthday on his Hebrew calendar birth date. According to the organizers, roughly 200 vehicles were present for the event.
Another such convoy is expected to leave from Dimona and Yeruham.
"We have come to celebrate the birthday of the best Prime Minister we've had this past few decades and all throughout the history of our country," one of the organizers said. "Our Prime Minister who only does good for your country and has been hunted down ruthlessly over the past few years. His birthday is a great opportunity to wish him and all of Israel well for many years to come."

It didn’t appear to be an idle threat, the feds say.
The 19-year-old searched online for Biden’s home address and for night-vision goggles, and purchased an AR-15 in New Hampshire, according to federal court documents first reported Thursday by WBTV. At one point in May, Treisman ended up at a Wendy’s within four miles of Biden’s home in Delaware. And when he was arrested later that month in North Carolina, police searching his van found four rifles, a 9mm handgun, explosive materials, books on bomb making, and $509,000 in cash that’s believed to be his inheritance.
Originally from Seattle, Treisman, who also went by the alias Alexander S. Theiss, was arrested May 28 after tellers at the Fifth Third Bank in Kannapolis, N.C., reported a white Ford van abandoned in the parking lot. When the police in the town about 30 miles northeast of Charlotte arrived, they said they could see numerous guns and boxes of ammo in the windows.
Police initially arrested Treisman, who was carrying identification cards for Washington state, California and Florida, for carrying a concealed weapon, discovering that he had purchased weapons in at least four states. Federal officials then allegedly found 6,721 images and 1,248 videos of child pornography on eight different digital devices, according to the eight-page detention order.
Treisman pleaded not guilty to the three counts of child pornography earlier this month. He has not been charged with any crime related to gun possession. According to court documents, Treisman’s attorney noted he has been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.

In October 2019, the agents say, Treisman created a note on his phone that outlined “a plan to perform a mass shooting at a mall food court on Christmas or Black Friday.”Posting on Reddit under the name AlextheBodacious, he referenced executing those he hated. In another Internet post under the same name, he stated that he was “going to do a columbine for a while, [but] I think it would better to put it towards something more memorable.”
A video taken from Treisman’s cellphone in April showed the teen driving by the Mandalay Bay Casino in Las Vegas and praising the 2017 massacre that killed 58 and injured more than 500 in what became the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history. “That’s the one, that’s where they did it … nice,” he said, according to the order. Another cellphone video taken in April at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago featured a male voice suggesting that it would be “awesome” to hijack a plane and crash it into a building.
A cellphone photo of a doctored Polish passport and a rental agreement for an apartment in Canada suggested that Treisman had made tentative plans to leave the country, according to officials. The day after he was arrested, his mother told him in a jail call to “jump bail,” the order said.

Ottawa, Oct 24 (IANS) Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced an additional C$214 million on 'made-in-Canada' vaccines as the country's coronavirus caseload has surpassed the 210,000 mark.
The additional fund included up to C$173 million for the Quebec biopharmaceutical Medicago Inc., including support to create a production facility in Quebec City, reports Xinhua news agency.
The ggovernment has signed an agreement with the Quebec company to supply up to 76 million doses of its vaccine once it is approved for use.
"This is about securing potential vaccines for Canadians while supporting good jobs in research," Trudeau said at a news conference in Ottawa on Friday.
Medicago is developing the vaccine in partnership with the British drug company GlaxoSmithKline.
The two companies said its pre-clinical results show the vaccine demonstrated a "high level of neutralizing antibodies following a single dose".
If the vaccine also performs well in a clinical setting, the companies are on track to make it available in the first half of 2021.
Medicago has said it has the manufacturing capacity to produce as many as 100 million doses in 2021.
Trudeau also announced that Precision NanoSystems, a Vancouver-based biotech company, will receive up to C$18.2 million for the development and testing of a vaccine candidate.
The Trudeau government has previously announced agreements with several companies to secure access to their Covid-19 vaccines should they prove successful and are approved for use in Canada.
These companies include AstraZeneca, Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, Novavax, Pfizer and Moderna.
The Prime Minister said he is hopeful that vaccines can be used in the early part of 2021.
Presently, Canada has 211,076 confirmed Covid-19 cases and 9,884 deaths, the Public Health Agency of Canada said on Friday.
The agency said that Canada's public health community has mobilized and collaborated like never before to stand up and sustain this response.
"We've all had to adapt and adjust as new information emerged, while at the same time navigating through the sea of uncertainties.
"Pandemics are whole of social events. That means the impacts extend across society, not only by affecting those who become ill but also by impacting the health, social and economic systems that affect our overall wellbeing.
"It also means that minimizing the pandemic's impact, both today and in the future, depends on all of our actions now," it added.
The Government presented the testimony of FBI Special Agent Aaron Seres who testified about the events leading up to the indictment. Special Agent Seres testified that on May 28, 2020, employees of the Fifth Third Bank located at 606 South Main Street in Kannapolis, North Carolina reported an abandoned white Ford van in the bank’s parking lot. Officers from the Kannapolis Police Department (“KPD”) responded. Through the windows, KPD officers observed an AR-15 style rifle, a box for a Taurus .380 handgun, a cannister of the explosive material Tannerite, and a box of 5.56 caliber ammunition. The bank manager requested that KPD tow the van. An inventory search was conducted on the vehicle. The search revealed, in addition to the items seen through the windows, approximately $509,000 of U.S. currency (believed to be Defendant’s inheritance), books (about survival, bomb making, improvised weapons and Islam), drawings of swastikas and planes crashing into buildings, and the following firearms: a Sig Sauer AR rifle, an Intratec 9mm Luger, a Lower AR receiver, a Kel-Tec Sub-2000, a .22 caliber rifle marked ArchAngel, and a Russian Mosin Nagant M91/30 bolt action rifle.
Special Agent Seres testified that later on May 28, 2020, Defendant arrived at the Fifth Third Bank in a green Honda Accord and inquired about the towed van. Bank employees again contacted KPD. KPD officers responded to the call, encountered Defendant, and took him into custody. KPD officers obtained a search warrant for the Honda Accord, which revealed two additional firearms: a Taurus Spectrum .380 caliber and an Intratec 9mm Luger Model AB-10, found concealed in a clothes hamper. Officers also located Defendant’s wallet in the vehicle, which contained a State of Washington ID card bearing the name Alexander Hillel Treisman (DOB 12/19/2000), a State of California driver’s license bearing the name Alexander Hillel Treisman (DOB 12/19/2000), and a State of Florida driver’s license bearing the name Alexander S. Theiss (DOB 3/29/1995). KPD officer arrested Defendant for carrying a concealed weapon and contacted the FBI. A Samsung S9 cell phone was seized from Defendant’s person at the time of arrest.
Special Angent Seres further testified that Defendant confirmed using the online alias “flippymapper” on YouTube. JTTF investigators confronted Defendant about using the online alias “AlextheBodacious” to post a Reddit comment referencing pedophilia and executing those he hates. Defendant initially said he could not recall using this alias, but then later said he made the comment for “shock factor.” JTTF investigators conducted online searches of the aliases used by Defendant and discovered another post by AlextheBodacious expressing a desire to perform a mass shooting. The FBI obtained a warrant to search Defendant’s S9 cellphone. A search of the cellphone revealed sexually explicit videos and images of minors. A warrant was obtained to search fifteen other electronic devices seized from Defendant’s vehicles. Child pornography was found on eight of these devices (three laptops, three hard drives, an additional cell phone, and a flash drive). A total of 1,248 videos and 6,721 images of child pornography content were found on Defendant’s devices, in addition to 637 videos and images of child pornography containing sadism and/or masochism content. Location data collected for Defendant’s Samsung S9 cell phone shows Defendant traveling from South Carolina to North Carolina between May 26 and 27, 2020. Prior to traveling to North Carolina, Defendant used the internet at a hotel in South Carolina to download child pornography onto one of his laptops, which was found in his possession on May 28, 2020.

Poland's President Andrzej Duda tests positive for coronavirus
WARSAW, Poland — Poland's President Andrzej Duda has tested positive for coronavirus, his spokesman said on Saturday.
Blazej Spychalski wrote on Twitter that the conservative leader was tested the day before and his result was positive. He said the president felt well and is in isolation.
Duda's diagnosis comes amid a huge surge in the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 and deaths in Poland, a nation that saw only very low numbers in the spring.
The spiking infection rates are pushing the country's strained health system to the breaking point. Doctors say patients are now dying not only from Covid-19, but from other illnesses that overwhelmed hospitals are not able to treat.
The government is preparing to open field hospitals but it is not sure where it will find the doctors and nurses to staff them.

Podesta told CNN's "Late Edition" that Obama will push Congress to enact "at least part" of an economic package before he takes office in January, but said the problems Americans face need short-term and long-term approaches.
"It's clear that we need to stabilize the economy, to deal with the financial meltdown that's now spreading across the rest of the economy. The auto industry is really, really back on its heels," Podesta said.
Podesta said Congress could extend unemployment benefits for laid-off workers and provide assistance to states grappling with increased Medicaid costs quickly. But he said efforts to improve schools, expand health-care coverage and wean the nation's energy industry away from imported fuels "need to be tackled together."
"As a candidate, Senator Obama said that he wanted all the Bush executive orders reviewed and decide which ones should be kept and which ones should be repealed and which ones should be amended, and that process is going on. It's been undertaken," Podesta said.
Podesta said Obama's team will be "looking at again, in virtually every agency to see where we can move forward, whether that's on energy transformation, on improving health care, on stem cell research."
Podesta said there is a lot the president can do without waiting for Congress, and voters can expect to see Obama do so to try to restore "a sense that the country is working on behalf of the common good."
Podesta said cooperation with Bush administration officials has been "excellent" since Tuesday's election.
