I have to disagree with you some here. While anons can always post their own buns int eh notable thread:
they can nominate notables.
They can't and shouldn't demand notables.
The baker decides what goes in the notables for the bread they bake, period.
Anything beyond that is just a return to Notable Shit Creek IMO.
Here are some examples of butthurt notables I reject:

Stuff that is outdated (old)

Stuff that has been noted already

Stuff that is not properly sauced

Stuff that is speculation beyond the thresh-hold I care to allow as a dig.

Stuff that frankly has nothing to do with QR

Stuff that is nominated by the poster
That is a LOT of stuff. And TBO most people on the board have no clue about what should be notable.
Good Autists and anons know what to post, and that shit almost always gets caught by experienced bakers.
Bakers make mistakes, miss shit, it's not easy to scan 730 shit posts and find the ~20 items that are worthy of inclusion.
Most cannot do it, it requires someone with a near complete timeline participation.
