I'd assume it's a bit of a lottery finding them.
Sometimes you wonder does the Republican Party deserve him. He's certainly doing more for them than they are doing for him. It's kinda like many of them wish he was gone too. Too in-your-face, an embarrassment. They sit on the fence awaiting his political demise, ready to come forward with the opinions then that they never liked him, that he set the party back decades, that they are willing to be more conciliatory again with Democrats. Back to shifty politics as usual.
Maybe he should just have done with it and say "If you're a Republican who doesn't like Democrats, if you're a Democrat who doesn't like Republicans - vote for me"
